History of Chez Bec

Chez Bec was created by Rebecca Doyle after a career change your mind during a holiday in Antigua. Rebecca, who has a “highly stressed lawyer in town, decided to follow her dream.

Rebecca knew that she wanted to set up her own jewelry store and it was obvious to her than with the current trends for the online retailer that an online business is the way forward. As a high-flying lawyer “ridiculous hours,” Rebecca was a “queen of surfing the Internet and online purchases.” She founded an office in her home, where the company still is run from and Chez Bec is made (an abridged translation of Rebecca’s House in French).

Chez Bec began as a contemporary jewelry boutique selling affordable jewelry from around the world. Once Rebecca started planning her own wedding back in 2006, she became “totally obsessed with weddings and slowly began to source wedding jewelry. Soon her wedding collection outsold everything, so she began cutting back on other series and used two jewelry makers to start making her own designs. Rebecca stopped buying jewelry and focused on designing her own collections and in May 2008 was Chez Bec exclusive designers of bridal jewelry.
