The Gold Mine Vintage Superstore – Launches Sunday 1st August

Vintage fashion stores have a ‘go-to in the big cities in the past decade, but Bristol has a fixed. Recognising this gap in the market and a desire for affordable vintage in the city, shop Dutty founders Louise Jones and John decided Rindom The Gold Mine – an exciting new pop-up vintage superstore in Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3PY launch.

The ethos behind the Gold Mine is simple – offer a wide range of vintage fashion pieces from the 1950s to the 1990s under one roof. With seven years experience between them, vintage fashion, the girls have an eye for gems and have worked hard to source quality trend led pieces. Shoppers can expect to gain from £ 8 dresses, skirts and jackets from £ 5 from € 15, perfect for the pockets of the Recessionista’s.

The Gold Mine will be located in the heart of the Stokes Croft. The superstore is a fun and colorful room with decorations, music, and a place where you can drop your bags for a cup of tea and a piece of cake to intervene. Founders John and Louisa are fast becoming a driving force in the fashion scene Bristol – between them they set up and run clothing boutique shop Dutty established fashion events collectively “The Fash Pack” and was featured in Vogue and Grazia magazines. The Gold Mine is set to a similar success and is part of a wider initiative – a non-profit organization “Dutty Enterprises’ aimed at supporting women in fashion.

The Gold Mine runs from 08.02 until October 14. The opening night is this Sunday, August 1 from nineteen – Turning Leaf Vineyards beverages provided by local DJs and music.
