Kindred Sole was launched in October 2009 by Lizz Leary and Beth Widdowson. Both graduates of the Fashion Retail Buying at De Montfort University, Leicester. The friends started working on ideas for Kindred Sole in 2006, during their first year of university. They continued to adapt, improve and new ideas to try out during the course and after graduation, Kindred Sole launched.
Kindred Sole brings ladies shoes up and coming designer shoes, with established brands from around the world. They create shoe collections from the “best of the best” shoe designers to their customers to bring unique collections, with emphasis on a great design, quality materials and exquisite details.
Target
Any Kindred seeks a fresh approach to online shopping for shoe designer shoes with the customer service being our top priority. Lizz and Beth actively seek customer feedback through their blog, product reviews or social media pages on Twitter and Facebook.
The team has searched high and low for the diamond in the world of footwear, shoes to their customers the most fantastic high heels bring to the gem embellished leather sandals. The goal is to provide a unique shopping experience for customers, so they can add shoes to their wardrobe that “on trend, yet so versatile you will from season to season as an investment purchase.”
Kindred Sole has noticed that in the three years of customer research shows that demand has shifted from cheap, impulsive buying investment pieces for the discerning customer, reflecting style and quality rather than a quick way to determine. This is reflected in the styles and quality that Kindred Sole offers its customers in its collections.
Inspiration
Kindred the only team begins each new year the review of key catwalk looks and trends and creating mood boards, complete with fabric and color palette inspired encouraging. These boards provide the initial ideas for what they feel will be the key to the season looks like wooden shoes for the summer of 1910, they responded by Bloom Clog.
